SHIPWRECKED 64
This is the best horror videogame AND the best ARG I've ever played! I'm a sucker for fourth wall breaking games that rely heavily on digging through files and expand the videogame experience beyond the videogame itself, and Shipwrecked64 does it PERFECTLY. The Shipwrecked universe lore itself is rich enough to keep the entertainment going far beyond the actual gameplay, especially if you're a nerd like me and enjoy dive deep videos or learning more about the characters and stuff from early concepts and versions of the game (check out Shipwrecked: Legacy Edition for that!), but honestly even just taking it as a puzzle game and removing all the horror/external elements it's still really fun. The OST is also epic, with my favorite track being actually quite mysterious in its origin: It was originally created for PolarDread in 2020, but the artist who made it hasn't been in contact with Squeaks D'Corgeh (the dev) since then, and it's not publicly credited...quite interesting, isn't it? I've hidden the link somewhere around here...can you find it?

UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE
What could I say about Undertale and Deltarune that hasn't already been said? Toby Fox is probably my biggest artistic inspiration, I played Undertale back in high school and I remember spending days trying to figure out how to make an android port work so I could play it at school too because I didn't want to wait to get back home to play it (I was such a fkn nerd and to be fair I'd do it again lol). Like I previously mentioned, I love games that force themselves out of their boundaries. And Undertale was the first game I played that forces YOU, the player, to see your actions actually hold weight in the gameplay. It felt immersive in a way I hadn't experienced before, and it changes the way I play completely. This aspect is even more prominent in Deltarune obviously and I'm replaying it multiple times just to get to have a run with my own actions, one with what I think fits best thematically, and one for my completionist ass lmao. I'm bad with words but I think y'all can tell by my website's theme how much these games mean to me. Rouxls Kaard is absolutely gaster btw.
